The prequel of a new series starring Ryan Bodean for sure made me want to read more
“Havana Fury†is the prequel to “Atlantis Stormâ€. However, this prequel can be read before of after the main book as it is such well crafted that manage to fill in some of the gaps regarding R.B & Megan’ story, without unnecessary repetitions and does not give away any of the plots to come.Ryan Bodean (R.B.) has arrived at an endpoint in his life, his luck has deserted him, he loses his seaplane tour business to a very unlikeable man, that to add insult to injury becomes his boss and sole source of income. As his beloved plane breaks down everything goes south, and only the very unexpected offer saves him from the ultimate doom….. or so it seems. R.B. embodies the characteristics of a Japanese hero, the one that it is destined to fail, and becomes a hero just because of it, with a very fine difference… R.B even when totally out of luck, seems to be capable cheat destiny at every turn of the page.What follows is a very fast paced, utmost exciting, movie like thriller action, that keeps the reader on the edge of the seat…. Some of the action seems hardly believable, but than rarely any good action thriller is. At the end everything comes together, just not exactly as predicted but satisfactory so anyway….It is a great book, short but highly entertaining, and a very fun read with a sole downside… you will be yelling for more, fortunately you can proceed right away to read “Atlantis Storm†or “Hemingway Found†(the second book in the series) 😊…. Oooh, you did already? Don’t worry… R.B is in fact the brother of Troy Bodean, the protagonist of the “Troy Bodean Adventure†& “Troy Bodean Tropical Thrillers†Series by David Berens, which are also a very good read…. Until the next R.B adventure hits the shelves
