There are so many ideas in this work that will stimulate new insights for those of us who have been kept in ignorance by our lack of access to the original texts. Dack and North have done us a great service for which I am truly grateful. Their meticulous work over many years has been rewarded with the issue of this essential text for all interested in electroacoustic music and sound studies in general.
